Written 4 March 1994 when I was age 8.

I woke up and watched Garfield. I got ready for school. For breakfast I had a smores poptart. I went to school. Our spelling words are ' words [apostrophe words]. By the end of the day it was raining. I got dranst [drenched]. I went to gymnastics. I had a head eck [ache]. No body is paying attention to me.
